Rise of Nations offers 2 unique Wonders per age that give the nation that built them a multitude of advantages and bonuses. Click on the wonder icons for an enlarged, in-game shot of the wonder.
Pyramids
Successfully constructing the Pyramids helps you improve your overall speed of resource accumulation, as well as speeding up the limits under which Food and Timber can be harvested. In addition, you can build one city more than the normal game limit.
Colossus
The Colossus increases your gather rate for wealth. It also raises the commerce limit for Wealth and Timber, allowing you to gather these at a faster rate. In addition, your population limit is raised so you can build more units.
Terra Cotta Army
The Terra Cotta Army is very useful if you are pursuing an aggressive military strategy. Having a Terra Cotta Army on the map results in your receiving a free foot unit every thirty seconds (plus 1/2 a second for every infantry unit you control).
Colosseum
The Colosseum is of great defensive value. It increases your national borders, and also increases attrition among enemy invaders. You can also build Forts and Towers more cheaply.
Temple of Tikal
The Temple of Tikal increases the effects of Temples - on National Borders, Hit Points, and Attack Range - by 50%. It also accelerates the rate at which you gather Timber, and the Commerce Cap for Timber is elevated.
Porcelain Tower
Once you successfully construct the Porcelain Tower, the construction speed for your ships is greatly increased, seriously bolstering any naval strategy. This Wonder also offers gives you control over every rare resource in your territory, even if you do not assign a Merchant to aquire that resource. Your income from Resources and Markets increases, also.
Angkor Wat
Constructing the Wonder of Angkor Wat increases the speed at which your Citizens gather Metal, which becomes a critical resource as the game progresses. Your Metal Commerce limit is also elevated, and the cost of units at the Barracks, Stable, and Dock is reduced.
The Palace of Versailles
Building the Palace of Versailles reduces the costs of researching technologies in every resource price except Knowledge, and permits Siege, Artillery, and Supply units to move more quickly as well. Your Supply units can heal your troops in the field once you build the palace of Versailles.
Statue of Liberty
Building the Statue of Liberty gives you a number of military advantages. You can upgrade ground and air units at no cost, and attrition damage to your troops in enemy territory is greatly reduced. The cost of Bombers and air defense buildings is greatly reduced.
Kremlin
The Kremlin Wonder raises your Commerce level for Food, Timber, and Metal by +200. The Kremlin also doubles the damage suffered by unsupplied enemy units while in your territory. And, finally, if you build the Kremlin, you gain the use of an extra Spy who is not counted against your population limit. If this Spy is killed, she is automatically rebuilt at no cost.
Taj Mahal
Once you construct the Taj Mahal, the hit points of all of your buildings are increased, making them much more difficult to destroy. At the same time, your income from Wealth (which usually means trade by your Caravans) is increased and your Commerce limit for Wealth is greatly increased.
Eiffel Tower
The Eiffel Tower doubles your income from Oil and also raises your Commerce limits for Oil, as well as increasing the reach of your national borders by a considerable distance.
Supercollider
Building the Super Collider means that your cost to buy goods at the Market is never more than 125 Wealth, and your cost to sell goods is never less than 50. You can research new technologies instantly after building this wonder.
Space Program
The Space Program, once researched, permits you to see all units, buildings, and terrain on the map. You create aircraft and missiles faster and cheaper. Should you misbehave and use nuclear weapons, you are immune to the effects of a Nuclear Embargo.
