There are many features in [this] that are worthy about writing over but sadly people don`t like to read too much anymore so writing too much more is just a big fat waste of time, says `TheGoodEvil`. Now that you have the low down on the main features of the game why don`t you get out of that chair get over to your local video game shop and pick up the best expansion pack that was ever released.

PROFIT MARGIN, TITLES NUMBER DOWN
(6 May 2004, 22:27 | Misc) The financial bottom line at gaming publisher Atari is not as rosy as this time last year. For the 2004 fiscal year the former Infogrames netted revenus of $66.4US million on annual revenues of $468.9US million. Twelve months ago those numbers were $84.7US million and $534.2US million respectively.
Bruno Bonnell, Atari founder and Chief Executive Officer, said in a statement that fiscal 2004 was a year of evolution for our company. [..] We adopted the Atari name... [and] completed a $200[US] million recapitalization and stock offering. The company expects to release 45 games in the upcoming fiscal year, versus the 75 it released in fiscal year 2004.

DATE SET FOR ADD-ON IN JAPAN?
(6 May 2004, 22:21 | RoN) The first day specific release for Rise of Nations: Thrones and Patriots in Japan [see earlier story] is coming from Stack-Style today. If the observation is correct, this foreign language port of the expansion pack will be made available on the island nation on June 11th. This date corresponds to a listing on online retailer Amazon Japan whose entry includes an image of the title`s box art.

LADDER REALITY A POSSIBILITY

(5 May 2004, 21:41 | Misc) The crew of Inside Mac Games is polling its readership as to their favourite gaming genre between now and May 12th. As of this writing, 'Role-Playing' is edging 'Strategy' by a margin of 5% out of a poll of 488 votes.
