Welcome to Apolyton's Centauri Dawn Contest. It's only our first Alpha Centauri relared contest, but we are very proud of it. And that's because this is not a simple "give away presents" contest, but a pure effort to produce lots and good smac fiction!

In this spirit of synagonism and not antagonism, we have two first winner prizes and two second winner prizes. Additionally, we are for the first time accepting participants beyond USA and Canada. It's "only" Europe that we include this time, next time, the entire world! :)

We should note that this contest would not happen if it wasnt for Mike Ely, who first suggested the idea of a contest, offering two autographed copies of his Centari Dawn book. The help of Velocyrix who also offered two copies of his soon-to-be-released Strategy Guide beyond serving as one of the judges, and the help of Googlie and Hydro who helped make the rules and will be the other two judges was invaluable.
