On November the 11th 1965 at exactly 13 minutes past the hour, Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson is handed a telex informing him that the Provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba have declared themselves sovereign entities of a newly independent Western Canada.
At the conclusion of the Remembrance Day ceremonies in all the Western Canadian Capitals, the new Maple Leaf flag is struck, and the Red Ensign is raised up again as a symbol of defiant Western Canadian nationalism.
The Canadian Civil War has begun....

Just in response to Techumseh's post, first off thanks for the RCAF history, greatly appreciated. Secondly in response to the "Lightening Interceptor" it was my...and I admit poor attempt at recreating the Voodoo. As per the fighter which holds the fleet air arm distinction, I was attempting to insert the F2H Banshee(which though was retired in 1962 by the RCN), I wanted the "Bonnie" play an active role in the scenario, so I kept them in a service a bit longer. I hope to in the next day or so, post a small list of events to try to explain the story.
*Alternate History Note 1* Unification of the RCN,RCAF and Cdn. Army occurs in Feb. of 1965(Instead of '68) for the purpose of this scenario.

To answer Curtsibling's post:
At the moment, it will be a pure war scenario. One major element which I would like to add, would be to include incentives for capturing smaller cities, rather then in most scenarios where it seems as though the focus tends to be on the capture of major urban centers.
Also as a side note, though I'm not a fan of the Dr. Who series, the British Army units that you have created for your "Extermination" scenario are quite impressive.
