I assume the original also isn't compatible with modern OS's.

Well I am impressed.
A lot of cracks in the ceiling and the floor. Is that just for 'colour'

Hercules: Yeah, all main characters lives must suck in adventure games, it's a rule of thumb.
snoopy: no, it's just the angle I have chosen to do, in fact if you look hard enough, you can see that this room actually has 5 sides to it, but it's really just an effect.
I'm working on something else for now, but I might get back to this game one day, it had quite a good storyline.
You actually start in this bedroom, he's lying naked on the floor in the dark. You wake up and as the player tries to exit the room, he causes the door to break and he ends up stuck, so your first "mission" is to figure out how to get out, I have the entire walkthrough for that mission done, and it's quite a number of steps.
I also implemented the Space Quest method of dying. For example, if you do something stupid like put metal in a power socket, then you will fry yourself into ashes. Or if you exit the window, you will fall to your death. (Singapore's homes are mostly apartment buildings at the very least 9 stories high. Humor is very important in an adventure game.
