Change default file save name

Increase the size of your Attachments

I'd like to change the format of the default name assigned to save files.

Reason: To make it easier to identify individual games.

Example: A typical save file is named

Petek AD-1656.CivBeyondSwordSave

I'd like the file name to default to (for example)

Petek of the Incans AD-1656.CivBeyondSwordSave

That is, to incorporate the Civ's name into the file name. Can this be done, and, if so, how?

As far as I know, it cannot be done, without going into the C++ (if that's even possible)... Solver might be able to tell you.

Thanks. Requiring C++ would be way beyond my skills.

This actually seems to be a retrogression from SMAC (which is from where I come). In SMAC, an example of the default save file name is

Petek of the University, 2167.SAV
