Multiplayer issue - IP games

Support Apolyton, buy Galactic Civilizations: Deluxe Edition

Hey guys-

I'm having a problem getting a TCP/IP game started with my friend.

When I host a game, he isn't even able to find it. When he hosts the game, I can find it and even join it but as soon as I do it crashes his client to desktop. I've looked everywhere for a solution for this one, I'd appreciate any help.

Put an end to popups!

I got this fixed - turns out it was a lack of port forwarding on my end. It's still not working though as my friend's router doesn't support one of the ports SMAC/X uses.
