does there seem to be any chance that AC or AX will ever be playable on widescreen monitors, or do i have to horde all of my 4:3 screens as long as i live, or until a ported version of the game is developed?

Inflate your Upload Space

As a widescreen monitor owner, I can assure you AC works perfectly fine with it, as long as you use "directDraw=0" in your AlphaCentauri.ini
