Finns often have these very prominent cheekbones and different eyes. Finnish tourists are relatively easy to spot

I have a Finnish friend and she looks a bit like this. One genetic characteristic of Finns seems to be an absence of facial muscles apart from those required for eating and, more importantly, drinking.
As i've remembered. My grandmother's surname was paja. Strangely, there is paja word in Teh Grand Vocabulary of Polish Language, but only its declination, not its meaning. It doesn't sound all that polish anyway. So I've searched the web for what it could mean. It has meaning in spanish, and finnish.
Strangely, the most popular polish surname is Kowalski ("Smith").

Nah, I've finally found its meaning in the net. It seems it's a word that is very old and not used anymore. It means some sort of pie, with either fruit or meat.
