Still unable to contact host, there has been to many issues with this game, is anyone else able to act as a server for the game, or can the problems be properly fixed?

Sorry for any confusion but I did say I wanted out of this one. Too slow and too many reloads for server downtime. Thanks for effort Evalds but I ain't got the stamina needed.

Logged in successfully and registered on civstats. Surprisingly the Byzantine position is even reasonably good (I was expecting to take over a poor starting position).

To clear up any misunderstandings, I sent two messages in game (unfortunately notoriously unreliable) and 2 more in civstats (which you have not read yet).
I prefer communications via civstats since it keeps everything organized and is easy for people taking over a position to read historical agreements.
