Apolyton Review: First Impressions: Day 4
Here are the final impressions from my first game. I won on warlord, 8 civs, normal map by spaceship
| The ultra-cool diplomacy screen where you see the agreements each civ has with the others. The dotted lines mean that the German with the Indians have a military alliance against the French
|

|
Another usefull feature: the domestic advisor pops up to suggest that you change a city to aqueduct or hospital so that it can grow over the limit
(the aqueduct allows a city to grow over size 6 and the hospital over 12)

The spaceship screen in "almost done" state. My favorite screen of the game.

And here is the "invisible" UN screen. I call it "invisible" cause it doesnt exist. While the space victory gets a really cool screen, diplomatic victory is done through
simple windows. It would be great if there was a screen with all the (animated) leaders where you could see how many votes each civ has,
why you can or can not suggest yourself to be the leader, "links" to private chats with the other leaders to get them to vote for you,
and well, generally something more like SMAC

To clearly show the difference between the two victory types and how you achieve them, here's
one more shot from the spaceship screen, at "finished" state

I won! :)
|
|

| Unless i have made a mistake, this is the first of the end-game screens.
The other leaders make some rather interesting comments about the game. :)
However, i would prefer it if each of them said something and it was over. Instead, it's repeated endlessly
|

Demographics screen(also availiable at any time of the game). I would expect more stats here....
<yin>it's been 5 years you know!</yin>

Histograph screen. Cant think of anything wrong to say :(
;)
|

|
Now this was kind of funny at first, but after a couple of times i went for the "esc" button rather quickly...

From the replay screen. If only civ3 could save gifs like the above... :)
